We have had quite the journey for the last few days! Our flight was delayed,so we were switched to connect in Boston instead of JFK..we barely made the connection...unfortunately we discovered in London that our luggage had not arrived with us. Poor Megan became sick on the flight and had to lay on the floor so that she would not pass out....we think this may have had something to do with my great idea of drinking wine at the airport and then taking a few tylenlol pm's. Though I slept wonderfully with my eye mask and earplugs!!!
Anyways...We stood at the counter for over an hour trying to figure out what to do about our luggage,so by the time we arrived at the next airport, it was well after 12am. Even though I had booked a hostel nearby, we decided it would be best to stay at the airport since we had to be back by 4am. We huddled together in the corner and didnt get a wink of sleep. I guess this is a typical backpacking experience. We couldn't help but laugh!!!
We arrived in Montpellier this morning and were so happy to see my Aunt DD waiting for us. Her house is absolutely beautiful...Megan has already decided she could live here! We napped for most of the day and are now ready to begin our nights festivities. It seems my cousin Christopher has some parties for us to attend!!!! I guess we will be weearing Aunt DD's clothes, and hopefully our things arrive here tomorrow!!!! Cross your fingers for us!!
